President’s Welcome
A Message from the President
Welcome to the Fairfield County (CT) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated!
Since 1979, we have been proud to serve Fairfield County, Connecticut, for more than 40 years, advancing our longstanding commitment to public service, community uplift, and excellence. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Guided by our sisterhood and dedication to service, we believe in a community where everyone has the opportunity to rise, thrive, and reach their fullest potential.
In Fairfield County, we are especially proud of the programs and initiatives that support our young people, including our Murray-Freeman Memorial Scholarship, which supports high school seniors pursuing a college education. Through educational initiatives, community outreach, and meaningful partnerships, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout Fairfield County.
We invite you to join us at our upcoming public events and programs, from our annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in October and Signature Jazz Brunch in May to our civic engagement initiatives, business expos, and other community outreach activities. These opportunities reflect our commitment to empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and creating meaningful change. We look forward to connecting with you and welcoming you into our circle of service!
Are you an individual who wants to get involved, a community organization interested in collaborating, or a business seeking opportunities to sponsor and support our work? We welcome your interest, partnership, and generosity. If there is a way our chapter can serve you or your organization, please reach out and let us know.
Together, we can continue to build a stronger, healthier, and more vibrant Fairfield County—one where every member of our community has the opportunity to rise and thrive.
Thank you for visiting our website. We look forward to serving alongside you!
Yours in service,
Tameika G. Miller
